To the editor:

In their recent posts on X, Reps. Glenn Cordelli and Katy Peternel declare that there is no fight between Republicans and Democrats but rather a biblical struggle of Good vs. Evil.

Lets be real people....

Everyone has the right to peace, love, and happiness.

Everyone has the right to live their own life.

Everyone has the right to the freedom to be one self, especially in New Hampshire, Live Free or Die....

No one has the right to push their beliefs in our face.

No one has the right to force their agenda into the teaching of our children.

No one has the right to infringe upon the freedom of another.

Everyone just needs to live tbeir best life, and respect the life, beliefs, and space of others.

Keep your lives private, and njoy your lives to the fullest.

Its not all that hard....

I am not religious and I am in favor of allowing people their private space to do what they please as consenting adults.

Allowing someone to act like their true self is also fine in public. People can wear what they want. It is a free country.

But what happens when someone's rights infringe on my rights? Can I be publicly shamed, or criminally prosecuted, if I exercise my rights if that happens to conflict with someone else's "gender identity" or that offends someone and thus I am labeled as speaking hate or being "an extremist?"

Banning books is a good example of the misinformation that the Left is promoting. Regardless of one's beliefs, can't all adults agree that adult-content books should not be available to children? That would seem to be a no-brainer, yet the Left tries to convince the public that anyone who objects to this sensible stance is in favor of banning books.

This is especially disingenuous given the rise of Amazon. I'm sure every one of these borderline obscene books can be ordered for $20 or less and shipped to one's house. If a parent wants their seven-year-old to learn about homosexual sex, they can order the book and indoctrinate their kids at home.

Instead, school systems want to take over the parental role and allow children to live out a fantasy that they are a different biology than they were born with, and do this by actively hiding this from their parents. Leftists wouldn't mind if kids start taking puberty blockers because they feel different.

We are now finding out that this is child abuse, even though it has been endorsed by our medical and educational establishment in the name of the LGBTQ movement.

Donald Trump and his followers are using religion for the sole purpose of grabbing power.

Religious people supporting Trump is as foolish as blue collar workers or minorities doing it; he neither believes in the same things nor supports anything that actually helps them. It's the ultimate example of people voting against their own interests.
