OSSIPEE — A former Conway woman was sentenced to a year in jail after pleading guilty in Carroll County Superior Court to several charges that she stole money from her family’s construction company.

Last Thursday, Tanya Gilmore, 43, was before Judge Mark Attorri for a plea and sentencing hearing on one felony count of forgery and three felony counts of theft by unauthorized taking. The crimes took place between January 2018 and July 2019 when she was working as a bookkeeper for a Conway construction company called H.E. Gilmore & Sons.
