CONWAY — While Superintendent Kevin Richard will retire in a little over 10 weeks, the search for his successor remains ongoing. The SAU 9 Board’s superintendent search committee started the process in January, decided in February to readvertize the position and have yet to decide on a candidate for the job.

Randy Davison, vice chair of the SAU 9 Board and a member of the search committee, said the field was whittled to two applicants, but one took a job in Rochester.
