In response to the recent letter in The Conway Daily Sun in which the letter writer did his own research on the Donald Trump sexual abuse trial against E. Jean Carroll.

One important difference between Trump and Clinton was that Clinton did his dirty deeds while President. Afterwards, he reportedly spent lots of time with Jeffrey Epstein. Yet he and his family and his foundation are still highly regarded by the Left.

Trump was a billionaire "playboy" who described how women would throw themselves at him. I'm sure rock stars feel the same way about groupies. Not a world most of us live in.

Like most of us can now see, lawfare is alive and well in the United States, but especially in NY. The Governor there signed some law that threw out the statute of limitations and Trump was then charged with this offense. But because it was not criminal, the rules are much less stringent. How does someone defend themselves against a charge like this from dozens of years ago? The fine for defamation, if one was to be assessed, should have been $10,000 or $20,000. Millions of dollars? That is just crazy.

I think there are some Scandinavian countries where if you are rich and you are caught speeding in your car, the fine is millions of dollars. The justification is that in order to stop speeding, you need to make the fine meaningful to the perpetrator. That wouldn't (and shouldn't) fly in this country. But I'm sure the Dems would love it.

It's amazing that you can ignore the fact that dozens of women have told the same basic story about how Trump assaulted them. He's a sexual predator, among his many other reprehensible issues. Stop trying to use Steve Bannon's sick "pivot to Clinton" strategy to defend Trump, it's idiotic. Clinton isn't running for office, Trump is. By the way, I wouldn't have voted for Clinton either time he ran, as it was clear he was lying to us about his womanizing ways. At least his partners were willing though, unlike Trump's. I do blame Clinton for starting us down the slippery slope that removed character as a primary qualification to be president, which is what allowed a degenerate like Trump to run for office.
