Berlin Cross Country Teams compete at White Mountain Regional’s Homecoming

WHITEFIELD-- The Bob Lord coached Berlin high school cross country teams traveled to White Mountain Regional high school Saturday and participated in the Spartan’s homecoming weekend.

The meet itself was put on as a fun meet, which included some of the Spartan runners tying themselves together. Both the boys and the girls ran at the same time.

The top finisher for the boys was Berlin’s Nick Bunnell in a time of 19:51. The Berlin boys finished as follows; Brendan Bisson 2nd in 20:13, Tristen Poirier 4th in 21:18, Dustin Moore 5th in 21:30, Jessie Fecteau 9th in 22:25, Calvin Ruediger 10th in 22:33, and Zachery Blanchette 11th 28:13.

In the girls competition, it was Pittsburg/Canaan’s Kirby Judd that finished first in 22:27. The Lady Mountaineers were led by Ashley Bergeron’s 2nd place finish in 23:05. The rest of the Mountaineers included; Sam Labens 3rd in 24:23, Brianna Roy Demers 5th in 28:03, Megan King 6th in  29:31, Rachel Skeen 7th in 29:39, Cassie Lacasse 8th in 29:47, and KC Fortier 15th in 34:04.

The Mountaineers will travel to Littleton on Friday for their next competition, beginning at 4:30 PM.
