LANCASTER — Coos County Attorney John McCormick has filed a motion to push the negligent homicide and manslaughter trial for the driver in the Randolph fatal motorcycle accident out at least a year.

McCormick is asking Coos County Superior Court Judge Peter Bornstein to approve a scheduling order that calls for jury selection to take place in November 2020. He said the defense attorney for Volodymyr Zhukovskyy, 23, of West Springfield, Mass., opposes his motion although the defense has yet to file a response with the court. McCormack wrote that the state and defense have been unable to come to an agreement on scheduling deadlines in the case.
